Teresa Teare defends employers in the areas of employment discrimination,
wrongful discharge, and wage/hour regulation, both in court and before
federal and state agencies. She assists employers with drafting employee
handbooks and personnel policies. Teresa has co-authored articles for the Matthew Bender monthly Labor
and Employment Law Bulletin and the Society for Human Resource Manager’s
(SHRM) Court Report. In addition, she is a contributing editor of the
The Employment Law Deskbook, published by Matthew Bender, and the Maryland
and Federal Employment Law Manual, a publication of the Maryland Chamber
of Commerce. Prior to joining Shawe & Rosenthal, Teresa worked for a general practice
law firm in Baltimore. She represented clients before the United States
District Court of Maryland, Maryland Circuit and District Courts and the
Office of Administrative Hearings and argued before the Maryland Court
of Special Appeals. |
